A letter to my sister...

Dear Jessica...I know what you are trying to do...so you can just stop right there. When I visited your abode on Granite Street yesterday...you had a "sample" tray full of all things delectable that you have been baking for my sampling when I arrived. Lovely, the treats were and I was quite content just nibbling here and there with my Mr. Clark aside me nibbling the same.

Funny how when we were set to leave you and go about our day....you just happen to have Chinese take out containers full of the same delights ready for us to adopt and make room for in our home. I tried to decline...but you wouldn't hear of it!

Funny indeed.

It wasn't until this mornings weekly visit with our lady friends that I realized what you are trying to do. It was evident and obvious and cruel when you handed me 2 not just 1 but 2 Christmas tins full of our Mother's homemade wafer cookies. The irresistible wafer cookies that have the softest pink and green creme inside that can't help itself but to resemble billowy clouds making their way out of the sides of a wafer delight.

Evil you are...my conniving sister.

You...my flesh and blood are tired of the way that I look in my favorite jeans aren't you? You have concocted such a devious plan to bring an end to my rear end....

Really Jessica. Your sibling rivalry has stooped to an all new low. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Just a little warning for you....My outrageous brownies...the ones that your lose all will power against... just might mysteriously find their way into your thighs...er....I mean home.

Consider yourself warned.

(If you try to tell mom about this...I'll deny it 'til the end..."TIL THE END!!)!!

btw - I don't think ANYthing can make you look bad in jeans! :)

Sorry I missed your boutique, I was sick. I really wanted to see you. We'll have to catch up another day.

Love it!

Did you get your apron? I ordered one for my mom when I ordered yours as well, and I got my mom's on Monday. But we live in the same state as the company, so that's probably why it came so quick! Just wanted to make sure you've gotten yours!
