This is how I will be spending my Saturday...it really doesn't compare to...I don't know...sleeping in until whenever or having breakfast at The Good Egg with my sweetie...I think I would even prefer to babysit my nephew Tag who is just a stinker anymore than wake up before the crack of dawn to sell belongings to strangers who will just never appreciate that sweater circa 1997! I know, I know...I don't have to have a yard sale...but truth be told...I need to do some serious cleaning out of the closets (insert Eminem song here if you would like).

I have to tell you (and I really have no idea who is reading this so I am not sure who "you" is but let's carry on regardless of that), in my past few weeks of purging our family closets and linen closets and toy baskets, we have sooooo much stuff...way too much stuff for one family! There, I said it! I think that I finally realized that when I "put something away" in a closet, chances are that "something" will never be used again or see the light of day for that matter. For instance, I found my old Rollerblades in a box...not in the garage with the other various pieces of sports equipment, but sitting in a box covered in dust. I know...buuuuutt...you can buy them on Saturday for the low low price of $10...I know...that's not a deal, it's a steal! (side note regarding yard sale pricing...Mr. Clark is a complete over-pricer...be glad that I am the one handling the little yellow pricing stickers).

So wish me luck my friends, for we are getting ready for the yard sale to end all yard sales...and maybe if it goes well and it goes by fast...Mr. Clark and I can still make it to The Good Egg to share a buttermilk pancake stuffed with granola and peanut butter chips!

Good Luck on your massive purging of all things un*necessary*! Ben did some purging of stuff while I was out of town. When I asked him what he threw out..."only trash!" haha

Ahhhh the days of rollerblading! I still have mine...in a box too! I tried rollerblading a few years ago (while preggers) and going downhill. Not a good combo! I totally fell on my butt! Not like the days of our *youth* of 'blading at the wedge! Those were the days :)
